South Africa Partners 10th Anniversay
Children at an East London preschool practice fine motor skills and learn about shapes, colors and patterns through play with threading beads. In the Province of the Eastern Cape where South Africa Partners has strong relationships in both the health and education sectors, we have entered into partnership with seven home-grown centers run by women who provide child care from infancy to age 4. According to the World Economic Forum, Africa has the largest number of young people in the world. But less than 1 percent of African children leaving school have basic math and science skills. This has prompted a public-private partnership between the South African Government and global software company, SAP, to work towards upgrading the Cape Town Science Center. The plan wants to turn it into a flagship world-class center, which is accessible to school kids of all ages. CCTV America's Rene Del Carme filed this report.

South Africa Johannesburg, World Famous City Tour Johannesburg, more commonly known as Jo’burg or Jozi, is a rapidly changing city and the vibrant heart of South Africa. The Inner City itself, once a no-go zone, is becoming a tourist gem, with plenty of pleasant surprises. Oh, and there's Maboneng. Once I was anothers lover
Now I am my own
Trying to call myself a brother
Living here alone
Maybe if you came to see me
Wishing I wasn't so blind
Sitting here thinking to be free
Maybe we'd all change our mind
She is kind and beautiful
I am young and strong
We have never met each other
But it can't be long
Oft' I have slept by her window
Often I whisper her name
And wonder that words in the wind blow
